Raleigh, North Carolina Real Estate

The Raleigh, NC Real Estate market is one of the top real estate markets in the country and has been for several years.  Buyers in the Raleigh Real Estate market have a large variety of single family homes, town homes and high rise condos to choose from.  The Raleigh Real Estate Market is also famous for the many Golf Course Communities which are full of activities for the entire family.

The center of the Raleigh Real Estate market is inside the beltline and downtown Raleigh.  This area has been going through some transformation and modernization.   Many new high rise condo projects are under construction or in the planning phase.  Along with all of the downtown Raleigh Real Estate projects, there are a number of museums, parks, restaurants, bars, dance clubs and private clubs opening every day.  Raleigh has become a destination for those looking for the hot new place.

North Raleigh Real Estate is anything north of interstate I-440.  The North Hills area, just North of I-440 has become the new hot spot.  Raleigh’s oldest mall was knocked down years ago to make way for new boutiques, specialty shops, a gym, a movie theater, restaurants and upscale condos.  The older Raleigh Real Estate communities located close to North Hills have seen new life.  Many people are buying these homes and expanding or upgrading the living space to meet today’s family requirements.

North Raleigh Real Estate is also full of many smaller communities that have been around since the late 60’s – the early 70’s.  Most of these homes are located on wonderful large lots and close to shopping, schools, works and restaurants.  One of North Raleigh’s finest communities is North Ridge Country Club located off of Falls of Neuse Road.  Most of the homes in this community were built from the late 1970’s through the 1980’s.  It has always been a popular area in the Raleigh Real Estate.  Over the past several years many of the homes have been bought and turned down to make way for large million dollar mansions. 

Another well-liked area in the Raleigh Real Estate market is the Crabtree Valley vicinity located near I-440 and Route 70.  Crabtree Valley Mall offers some of the best high end shops, restaurants and services.  Just West of Crabtree is Brier Creek Country Club and Golf Community.  This area of Raleigh’s Real Estate continues to grow with some of the best shopping and restaurants in the entire area.  People that live in the Brier Creek CC area love the convenience to RTP Airport, Research Triangle Park, Chapel Hill and Cary.  This area of the Raleigh Real Estate market will continue to grow for several more years.

There are many other great communities in the Raleigh Real Estate market.  Homes in most communities are priced from the $200,000 to $4+ million.  Some of the communities have 1 acre plus lots and others have community swim and tennis courts.  Wakefield Plantation Golf Community in North Raleigh is considered one of the most beautiful and successful communities in all of North Carolina.  Four schools, shopping, restaurants, a YMCA and two golf courses are located throughout the community.  

Raleigh Real Estate doesn’t end there.  There are endless communities throughout all of Raleigh.  East and South Raleigh’s real estate is primed to take off.  These areas have more land for developing and are in position to grow over the next decade. 

Raleigh Real Estate doesn’t end at Raleigh borders.  Northeast of Raleigh is the quaint town of Wake Forest.  One of the fastest growing towns in all of North Carolina,s Real Estate market.  Heritage Wake Forest Golf Community is the largest and most successful community in Wake Forest.  Heritage Wake Forest offers shopping, schools, services, sport complexes, golf courses, swimming pools, tennis courts and many other wonderful community amenities.

Southwest of Raleigh is the Town of Cary.  This town offers everything its villagers could want in a town.  Great schools, shopping and restaurants as well as being located close to Research Triangle Park, make this area very desirable for many families.  Prestonwood Country Club, MacGregor Downs Country Club and Lochmere Golf Community offer everything a family could want or need.

Just south of the Cary Real Estate market are the towns of Apex and Holly Springs.  These small towns are growing at a fast pace and are expected to bring in new businesses and residential communities for years to come.
